The Maccabi Tzair branch in Hadera is located on a corner site in a developing area in the east-central part of the city, between existing and planned neighborhoods and adjacent to other public facilities. Its location allows the center to serve a growing population while strengthening the area's community infrastructure. The building is positioned along the western and southern edges of the site, creating a generous activity courtyard to the northeast. It is organized around a central volume containing public and administrative functions, with smaller flexible volumes accommodating multipurpose activity rooms. The different parts of the building are connected by a shading structure composed of exposed concrete and timber battens, creating a semi-covered patio for a range of activities. Two main circulation axes organize the project: a north-south axis connecting the surrounding neighborhoods, and an east-west axis linking the public areas, activity rooms, and courtyard. The material palette is simple and durable, combining exposed concrete, textured plaster, and timber battens. Referencing the simple construction language associated with youth movement facilities, the timber elements form an integral part of the shading system and roof canopies while reinforcing the educational and community identity of the center.
