Between Mound, Field and Stream
A project in collaboration with Habitat Pro Landscape Architecture and Ecology. Set within a Mediterranean landscape, the project brings together the archaeological mound of Tel Gimzo, open agricultural fields, and the Zamora stream corridor. The design develops infrastructure for leisure and tourism without imposing itself on the landscape, integrating instead through natural and local materials, the preservation of existing trees, and a carefully defined route. The trail is oriented toward key viewpoints, responds sensitively to drainage patterns and ecological crossings, and incorporates rest points that emerge from the place itself. The result is a path that invites visitors to enter the landscape and become part of it, balancing development, preservation, and the walking and cycling experience.
